Impaired driver crashes into salon

A 29-year-old Hamilton man is facing impaired driving charges after a car hit two vehicles and a beauty salon on Hamilton mountain.


The intersection of Upper Sherman and Mohawk Road was closed after the car drove into the front wall of the building after 10 p.m. Sunday. The driver, Edward Wiecha, was arrested.

The two vehicles that were struck sustained extensive damage before the car jumped the curb and hit the the salon. People in the other vehicles were treated for minor injuries by paramedics.
