Imitation Game premieres at TIFF

Earlier in the day at the Princess of Wales Theatre, it was a crazy scene as Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightly were there for the film ‘The Imitation Game’.

Benedict Cumberbatch was whipping the crowd into a frenzy. He actually took the time to take a few selfies with some of the folks as the crowd was screaming his name for what seemed like forever.

And Keira Knightly also got screams from the crowd.

The movie is about a man, Cumberbatch, who is tasked in breaking the code to help Britain win World War II. In doing so, he actually invents the first ever computer. But there’s more to his story. He was gay and he was persecuted at first for being gay because it was illegal at the time. So instead of being a war hero, he was actually persecuted for being a homosexual.
