Ikea wants to build a new store in Burlington.

It’s outgrown its current location on Plains Road East in Aldershot, and wants to move to a larger location near Walkers Line and the QEW by 2013.
The company has submitted plans to the city to relocate to a new facility that would be about 71 percent bigger.
The expansion will cost around $60 million and would create more than 100 new jobs.
Tourism Burlington says Ikea is the number one tourist attraction in Halton.
