The IKEA monkey could be homeless in two months.
Darwin and almost two dozen other primates are facing eviction from the Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary at the end of June because the property is being sold.
The volunteer-run sanctuary has launched another crowd-funding attempt, saying it needs $250,000 to find a new location, but a campaign to raise money for a new home already failed last fall.
The sanctuary says it’s the only one of its kind in Canada.
Darwin was taken from his owner and moved to the sanctuary in 2012 after he was found wandering an IKEA parking lot in Toronto.
More information on the crowd-funding campaign can be found here.
