Iceland Resident arrested for importing cocaine

The RCMP and the Canada Border Services Agency have arrested an Iceland resident for attempting to import 954 grams of cocaine from the Pearson International Airport.

On December 18, 2015, officers from the RCMP arrested a 40 year old female as she was preparing to depart Pearson and return to Iceland.

The female has been charged with importing a controlled substance in Canada.

The investigation is still on going.

She is due to appear in court February 19 at Brampton Courthouse.
