Hyundai recall
Hyundai is adding thousands more Veloster hatchbacks to a recall list in North America.
The recall is to fix panoramic sunroofs that can shatter and cause injuries. In December, the automaker recalled more than 14,000 cars from the 2012 model year in the U.S. and Canada. It’s now adding about 61,000 cars in the U.S. and 1,100 from Canada to the recall.
Hyundai says it’s unaware of any crashes caused by the problem, but that five people have suffered minor cuts. The company says it will inspect and replace the glass if needed.
