Hydro rates power opposition attacks

With seven months to go before the provincial election, one of the key issues was front and centre as the legislature began its spring sitting Tuesday.

Last fall the Liberals said hydro rates would jump 46% over the next five years.
While the government did announce a 10% rebate on electricity bills, the opposition continues to insist it’s still not good enough.
