Hunt on for Bajkor murder suspect

Two days after Hamilton’s second murder of the year, police have issued a warrant for 19-year old Shaquille Collins on second degree murder charges.

The neighbourhood is in fear today while police look for Collins. James Bajkor owned the house at 16 Milton Street where he was found shot in the back yard Monday evening.

CHCH News spent much of the day talking with local residents to find out what they knew about Collins. None would speak on camera; the tenants who rented from Bajkor said that they are afraid that talking would endanger more lives.

One man told CHCH news that the alleged shooter was seen leaving the house on Saturday, 2 days before the killing. A neighbour who found Bajkor just after the shooting and was able to talk to him before he went to hospital. He said that Bajkor did not recognise the person who did the shooting.
