Hundreds march for International Women’s Day

Hundreds of women marched in Toronto Saturday ahead of International Women’s Day.

The march began on Bloor Street West and finished at the Ryerson Student Centre.

Some of the marcher’s concerns included pay equality, rape in Darfur and missing and murdered aboriginal women.

International Women’s Day has grown to become a global day of recognition and celebration.

More than 40 events will be held across the country this year.
