Human remains found in Brantford identified

Brantford Police, along with the Centre of Forensic Sciences and the Coroner’s Office have identified human remains found in the north end of the city earlier this year. A citizen discovered a human skull in a remote field on January 23^rd and contacted police. The remains have now been identified as a 49 year-old male from the Brantford area and his family has been notified. Out of respect for his family, the name of the deceased will not be publicly released.
