Firefighters are battling a blaze at a house in Niagara Falls.

About 12:30 Thursday afternoon, a number of 911 calls came in reporting an explosion and fire at the Murray Street structure. Firefighters searched the building, but they found no one inside. Neighbours say a man and a woman live in the home along with 4 cats. Investigators are trying to determine the cause.
