Hudak: New premier same as the old premier

Speaking at Queen’s Park, Hudak blasted Wynne for being complicit in the deletion of government emails associated with the cancellation of the Oakville and Missisauga plants. He says Wynne has proven she is no different than Dalton McGuinty when it comes to honesty and transparency.

“Kathleen Wynne said she was going to be different. She said she would be honest, she was going to release all the documents. We find out now that she knew the documents had been destroyed.”

“Her staff had known for months and the premier knew that the emails had been deleted. So when she comes forward and she says she’s surprised, people don’t believe that. It’s sad, but I think it just shows that, quite frankly, nothing’s changed.”

Hudak says deleting emails is no different than shredding government documents.
