HSR introduces myRide hybrid service in Waterdown

Waterdown’s HSR myRide will become a hybrid service including a fixed-route portion and an on-demand area on Nov. 7.

The City of Hamilton says the change comes after service analysis and customer feedback.

Route 18 Waterdown Mountaineer will connect Waterdown to Aldershot GO Station and Burlington Transit at Plains Rd.

The new route will run every 30 minutes between 5:25 a.m. and 7:25 p.m. on weekdays and 8:25 a.m. to 7:25 p.m. on Saturdays.

The myRide on-demand service will continue to run local trips in the on-demand zone located above the escarpment.

in September 2021, the HSR mRide launched with the goal of providing expanded coverage and more direct trips.
