McMaster University is hosting a two-day conference on the rising threat of antimicrobial resistance.

This comes on the heels of an alarming report that predicts drug-resistant superbugs will cause a tremendous strain on the Canadian healthcare system, and kill hundreds of thousands of people by 2050.
