House fire in Kilbride causes $250 000 worth of damage

Two people are in hospital being treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire in the Kilbride area.
The fire started on the back deck of the house, and tore through the main level of the house. Neighbours were the first to notice the fire, and ran over to get the people out.
The house is in a rural area without any fire hydrants so Milton Fire and Hamilton Fire were called in to help with the water supply.
Burlington Fire has not been able to determine the cause but the platoon chief said the fire is not suspicious in nature and the Fire Marshal will be investigating.
There is around $250 000 worth of damage.
