Hotel shooting leads to investigation in Brantford

Brantford police are looking for four suspects in relation to a shooting at the Comfort Inn on King George Road near Wood Street.

Police say they responded to the hotel around 12:30 a.m. following reports of gunshots. When they arrived they found results of the gunfire on the outside of the hotel directed at one of the rooms. They say that the someone was in the hotel room at that time, but that the occupant was unharmed.

Police are looking for four men who were wearing “dark coloured clothing” and fled the area in a light-coloured, four door sedan. The vehicle was last seen heading north bound on King George Road.

The incident is believed to be targeted.
