Horwath keeps talking hydro rates

From Thunder Bay to Scarborough, NDP leader Andrea Horwath is back on the campaign trail. From one place to another, the topic hasn’t changed: hydro rates.

Yesterday, Horwath promised Ontarians that if she is elected premier, she will cut HST in hydro bills. Horwath says this will save homeowners $120 a year, starting in 2016.

The NDP leader says the government needs to start making life more affordable for Ontarians.
