After becoming one of the highest grossing R-rated movies ever and destroying the record for Digital HD sales last week, Deadpool leads the way on DVD and Blu-ray this week.

The clever marketing attitude Fox used for the film carries over onto the home video release, which features plenty of humourous and comical extras including a gag reel; “Deadpool’s Fun Sack”, which is a package of random content like an interview between Ryan Reynolds and Mario Lopez; and a set of featurettes titled “From Comics to Screen. . .to Screen”. There are also commentaries for both the feature film (one from Reynolds and screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and a second from director Tim Miller and Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld) and the included deleted scenes (from Miller alone).

Michael Moore premiered his latest globe-hopping documentary at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and held a short release in New York and Los Angeles theatres to qualify for the Academy Awards. It didn’t have a wider theatrical release until this February and is now getting a home video release this week, which is good news for anyone living in North Carolina wanting to see the film.
I have asked my distributor NOT to book my film in any theater in North Carolina due 2 their bigoted law against LGBTQ ppl. They have agreed
