Even though it’s still in some theatres, the latest Bond feature hits home video this week along with some of last year’s under-appreciated films.

Included on the disc is a featurette detailing the production of the film’s impressive Day of the Dead opening sequence called “Spectre: Bond’s Biggest Opening Sequence” and a series of short video blogs including “Director—Sam Mendes”, “Supercars”, “Introducing Léa Seydoux and Monica Belucci”, “Action”, “Music”, and Guinness World Record”.

There is quite a collection of special features offered up with this release including five deleted scenes; seven featurettes covering the film’s locations, costumes, effects and more; and an audio commentary from writer/director Guillermo del Toro.

Unfortunately there aren’t many supplements on 99 Homes’ home video release, though there is a commentary from director Ramin Bahrani (which even Spectre lacked) and a deleted scene. However the under the radar feature itself, which holds down a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, is worth the price of admission alone.
