Home Invasion on the mountain

Scary moments for a Hamilton man early this morning, when his home on the mountain was broken into.

Hamilton Police say two men with a firearm forced their way into a home around three this morning in the area of

Fennell Avenue East and Upper Sherman.

The homeowner was attacked by the men but police say he was not injured.

The thieves took off with property but didn’t specify exactly what was taken.

Police say the home was targeted and there is no risk to public safety.

They are looking for two men described as being black, wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks.
