Holiday train returning to Gage Park to support Hamilton food share

The Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Holiday Train returned to Hamilton’s Gage Park on November 23rd to raise money and food for local food banks.
The train arrived on the railway tracks at 50 Lawrence Rd. on the south side of Gage Park, bringing a big celebration with glowing lights, holiday decorations, and live music.
As part of the train’s arrival, Grammy-nominated Scottish musician KT Tunstall, famous for “Suddenly I See,” headlined a family-friendly concert, which even included a special appearance from Santa.
The CPKC Holiday Train worked with Hamilton Food Share and asked the public to bring cash donations and non-perishable food donations to the event.
Ahead of the event, a section of Gage Avenue South and Lawrence Road was closed from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
