Niagara Regional Police are looking for four suspects after an overnight robbery.

A tactical team has since cleared the scene at the Comfort Inn on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls. The suspects were believed to have fled there after robbing a man at gunpoint in the nearby Imperial Hotel. But when police entered a room registered to one of the four suspects, no one was inside.

Police say it was registered to a man from Mississauga who had been staying there for a week. They also say it is believed the victim, who suffered minor injuries, was targeted.

The suspects are all described as non-white, and between 21 to 25 years of age.
