Hike Fest raises money for Bruce Trail
Mowhawk College’s Fennell campus hosted Hike Fest on Sunday. The event featured vendors, speakers and workshops, all to support the Bruce Trail Conservancy.
The organization aims to preserve the Bruce Trail, which stretches nearly 900 kilometres and runs along the escarpment from Niagara to Tobermory. The Bruce Trail is Canada’s oldest and longest marked footpath. But as long as the trail is, it is not completely secure.
