Highway 403 shut down at King Road after crash

Police say a Burlington woman in a Honda Civic was cut off by another vehicle Sunday morning, sending her car into a ditch.

The accident resulted in the closure of Highway 403 eastbound at King Road around 11 a.m. on Sunday

The woman wasn’t seriously injured, but firefighters and paramedics say a second crash occurred nearby after witnesses stopped to check out the scene.

The second crash did result in minor injuries.

Charges are expected to be laid, and police are asking witnesses to contact the Burlington OPP.
