High water levels along Lake Erie

Conservation authorities are keeping a careful watch on water levels along the Lake Erie shoreline Monday.

The Long Point Region Conservation Authority has issued a flood advisory for the entire shoreline within its watershed.

It’s because of high winds that could cause water levels to rise and increase the potential for flooding in low lying areas along the shoreline.

The threat is likely to continue until Monday night.
