Aaron Hernandez indicted on murder charges

Former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez has been indicted on murder charges.

The charges are in relation to a double slaying in Boston in 2012. Hernandez is already being held without bail after he pleaded not guilty to murder in the unrelated death of a 27-year-old last year.

In the 2012 case, two victims were shot as they sat in a car in Boston’s south end.

Police have said in an affidavit that they have “probable cause” to believe Hernandez was driving a vehicle that fired the shots. They say he may have also been the shooter.
