Here we snow again! Another storm set to hit Southern Ontario

The majority of snow has melted from the last snowstorm to wallop Southern Ontario just in time for another to hit on Tuesday.

Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for Hamilton, Halton, Niagara, Haldimand and Brant County.

The weather agency says a winter storm with 15 to 25 centimetres of snow and ice pellets, freezing rain and strong winds will hit Tuesday and Tuesday night.

The snow will begin to develop overnight and could create difficult driving conditions for Tuesday’s morning commute. Strong easterly winds gusting up to 80 kilometres an hour will cause reduced visibility in some areas. Several hours of freezing rain is also possible throughout the day and could cause travel delays.

Niagara Falls, Welland, St. Catharines and Grimsby will only receive about 4 to 8 centimetres of snowfall but travel will likely be affected due to the freezing rain and gusting winds.
