Head on crash sends 2 to hospital

A 35 year old Burlington woman is in hospital with serious injuries, after a crash on a rural road north of Burlington.

It took firefighters half an hour to pull her from the wreckage.

Her car and a pickup truck crashed head on on Cedar Springs Road around 6 Monday night.

The man driving the truck is in hospital in Burlington.

The Halton police collision re-construction unit is investigating.
