Hate crime stats climbing in Hamilton

Hamilton Police say the number of reported hate-related crimes in the city is on the rise – and is expected to keep rising over the next few years.

Police say there hasn’t necessarily been an increase in the number of hate crimes – just the number of incidents reported, something they attribute to community outreach programs. Melissa Raftis reports:
