Hammer Town Comic Con

Fans of comic books, pop culture, movies and television gathered at the Hammer Town Comic Con today.

The Hamilton Convention Centre offered fans a chance to see movie props, film screenings, and question and answer sessions with some of their favourite celebrities.

Claudia Wells, from “Back to the Future”, and Robert Picardo of Star Trek Voyager were at today’s event.

Hammer Town Comic Con was such a hit that organizers are already planning an expansion for next year.

“Looks like the only complaint we have is that it’s a little tight in here so we might have to expand next year. We’re already looking at a two day event covering the whole convention centre,” says Comic Con owner Chris Dabrowski.

The Hamilton Comic Con is expected to grow significantly in size, similar to the one in Niagara Falls, which recently drew in 15,000 people.
