Hamilton’s Westover Rd. closure set to last until December

The City of Hamilton has announced the closure of a stretch of Westover Rd. for the completion of bridge maintenance that is set to wrap in December.

The closure of both Westover Rd. lanes between Sodom Rd. and Highway 8 begins Monday and is expected to last for four months.

The City says that the scope of road work includes roadway milling, paving and other associated works.

Motorists are asked to detour around the closure by using Highway 8, Highway 5, Brock Rd. and Concession Rd. 5 as alternative routes.
