Hamilton’s westbound Linc reopens after head-on collision

A head-on collision early this morning temporarily closed the westbound lanes of the Lincoln Alexander Parkway and sent a person to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident happened around 6 a.m. causing Hamilton police to close ‘The Linc’ in the westbound direction from Upper Gage.
Police say a vehicle travelling westbound crossed over the median and struck a pick-up truck heading eastbound.
The driver is believed to have suffered a medical emergency and was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police report that the pick-up driver suffered minor injuries.
The road has since reopened.
