Hamilton senior struck and killed outside mall

An 87-year-old Hamilton man was hit by a car Saturday evening outside of Limeridge Mall. The man was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead.

Police said the driver was a 30-year-old woman from Hamilton. The incident took place just before 8:30 p.m. and also said that speed was not a factor.

Police continue to investigate and charges have not been laid at this time.
