Hamilton’s Monster Truck to headline Grey Cup Neighbourhood Block Party

Hamilton rock band Monster Truck is set to headline the Neighbourhood Block Party as part of next month’s Grey Cup celebrations.

The Juno Award-winning group will perform at the party on November 19 at Tim Hortons Field along with Canadian talent Boy Golden and Born in the Eighties.

The Neighbourhood Block Party is free to fans holding tickets to the 110th Grey Cup game with performances set to run from 2 p.m. all the way up to kick-off at Tim Hortons Field.

This is the latest in a full slate of musical performances to be announced for this year’s “Built in the Hammer Grey Cup Music Festival.”

Upwards of 40 Canadian bands are expected to perform on Hamilton’s James Street from November 16 to 18.

Carrie Underwood has been announced as the Friday night headliner at the FirstOntario Centre and global punk-rock superstars Green Day will headline the official Grey Cup Halftime Show.

Celebrations have been planned throughout Hamilton in honour of the Grey Cup Festival. Centralized in Downtown Hamilton, the festival’s venues and events will be in a compact footprint that will ensure walkability and accessibility for everyone, says the organizers.
