The City of Hamilton held a media conference to provide an update on the city’s response to the Coronavirus situation here.

Hamilton’s medical officer of health says there are 4 new cases of COVID-19 in the city including a 3-month old child.

All four cases are connected to travel, three to a Caribbean cruise and the 3-month-old to a relative who travelled in the US.

They are in isolation at home, and the medical officer of health says she has no further information on their condition.

also, the city has announced the closure of the majority of city facilities that offer programming to the public, until April 6th.

This includes rec centres, seniors centres, arenas and museums.
