Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who was reported missing in September but hasn’t been seen or heard from since July.

Monica Chisar, 29, was last seen by a friend in the area of Barton St. East and Parkdale Avenue North.

Police say Chisar has gone missing in the past but always maintained contact with her family through social media. Police say she has not reached out online during this disappearance. “She has not utilized social media and this is an unusual departure from her normal behaviour causing her family to be concerned for her well-being,” said Hamilton police in a news release.

Chisar is described as white, five-foot-seven, 170 lbs, with green eyes and shoulder length red-brown hair. She has a small star tattoo on the left side of her neck, a crown on her left wrist, and “Ethan” and “I love my daddy FC” on her upper back.

Anyone with information that could help police with this investigations is asked to contact investigators at 905-546-3833.
