Hamilton Water crews work to repair water main break near Queenston Traffic Circle

Traffic near the Queenston Traffic Circle in Hamilton is delayed as crews work to repair a water main break in the area.

The eastbound lanes of Main Street East will be closed from the Queenston Traffic Circle to Rosewood Road while crews make repairs.

The City says work is expected to wrap up by 5 p.m. today.

This is the most recent in a number of water main breaks that have happened in Hamilton in the past two weeks.

A water main break happened on Nov. 12 on Hyde Park Avenue near Aberdeen Avenue, and another a week later broke in the area of Upper Wellington and Jay Streets.
