Hamilton teen ‘slashed’ with knife during altercation

A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital after he was sliced with a knife by another teen in Hamilton.

It happened just before 8:30 p.m. Thursday near Queenston Rd. and Woodman Dr.

Police say the teen got into a confrontation on the street and one of the boys slashed the other with a knife.

The victim was transported to hospital with minor injuries and is now recovering.

Investigators say the suspect is known to the victim and a warrant is being issued for his arrest.
