Hamilton teen missing since June has been located: Hamilton police

Hamilton police say a 14-year-old boy who went missing just over a month ago has been located.

The teen was last seen at his home on Queen St. North around 6:30 a.m. on June 28.

Investigators say the boy was involved in an argument with his family prior to leaving his residence.

Police issued a plea for help in locating the 14-year-old as investigators and his family grew increasingly worried for his safety.

Hamilton police were set to hold a news conference Friday morning regarding the boy’s disappearance. However, shortly before 7 a.m., police said the teen had been located and is now home with family.

The Hamilton Police are happy to announce that Yared has been located and is now back home.
