Hamilton sweats for Spin for Kids

Tens of thousands of dollars was raised all across the Hamilton area on Saturday, for the annual YMCA Spin for Kids.

Hundreds of people in the Hamilton community took part in the five-hour spin-a-thon, which benefits the YMCA’s Strong Kids campaign.

It helps pay for memberships for families who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford one.

The goal was to raise $70,000 for the campaign, which benefits Hamilton, Burlington and Brantford YMCAs.

Thousands of children and families all across the Hamilton area rely on Strong Kids for support.
