Hamilton stabbing suspect still on loose

Hamilton Police are looking for the attacker in a stabbing outside Jackson Square.

Investigators say it seems to be a random attack, and they’ve released surveillance footage of a man believed to be the suspect. He’s described as a black man around 30 years old with a stocky build; he was wearing a blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up and dark pants and shoes.

The Hamilton bus driver was off duty when he was stabbed yesterday morning on a bench near King and MacNab. He’s recovering at home.
