Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame inductees announced

The Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame unveiled it’s class of 2013 Wednesday morning.
Some of the honorees include former Tiger-Cats player and McMaster football head coach, Bernie Custis; Clara Hughes, one of Canada’s most celebrated olympians and a 6 time medalist in cycling and speed skating;
Rick Joslin, a pioneer in karate and kickboxing and the founder of Joslin’s Mixed Martial Arts.
Rounding-out this year’s class are the 1972 Canadian Junior Football champion Hamilton Hurricanes; legendary Cathedral High School football player and coach, the late Tom Gallagher; Dr. David Levy, a renowned sports medicine physician; and the late broadcasting legend, Bill Sturrup.
The induction ceremonies will take place at Carmen’s Banquet Centre on September 19th.
