A Hamilton man working as a personal support worker has been charged with stealing close to $10,000 from two seniors.

Police say 24-year old Erick Rodriguez, was caring for the elderly couple, when he allegedly forged cheques and deposited the money in his bank account over a three-month span. Police say he was seen at least once on video at a Hamilton mountain ATM depositing cheques. Rodriguez turned himself into police Wednesday and has been charged with two counts of fraud over $5,000.
