Hamilton postpones construction, closure on Highway 403 this weekend

The City of Hamilton says construction work scheduled to take place this weekend on Highway 403 has been postponed.
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) was planning to do work along the highway on Macklin St. and Old Guelph Rd. overpasses.
As a result, a portion of the westbound Highway 403 between Highway 6 and King St. West were scheduled to close beginning Friday at 11 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m.
Please be advised that as a result of the forecasted wet weather this weekend, the Ministry of Transportation has cancelled the maintenance scheduled to take place along the westbound 403 between September 16 – 19. The City will provide an update once work is rescheduled. https://t.co/4WEnL11R33
