A stretch of King William Street was closed between Ferguson Avenue and Catharine Street around 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
The station later reopened shortly before 11 a.m.
Police were deferring the public to make reports at one of the two other stations in Hamilton, but have since reopened the central station.
