Hamilton Police ticketing sober drivers – Bulldog tickets, that is

Hamilton Police are trying something new in their RIDE program this season.

Drivers who pass a ride lane successfully will be given vouchers for free Bulldogs tickets. You can use them for two for one admissions to eight Bulldogs games in December and January. Police say it’s a way of thanking safe drivers.

More than 126,000 vehicles have been stopped in RIDE lanes so far this year, and thousands more will be pulled over in December. Police say you should call 911 if you suspect someone is driving while impaired.
