Hamilton police share video of 4 suspects wanted in armed home invasion

Police have released video that appears to show four men stealing two luxury vehicles following a violent, armed home invasion in Dundas early Saturday morning.
The men wearing balaclavas, dark-hooded sweatshirts and pants can be seen in the video getting out of a dark-coloured Dodge Ram pickup truck and approaching a home in the area of Hopkins Court and York Road shortly after 4:30 a.m.
The family living in the home allege that the suspects held guns to the heads of the two adult children and tied them up.
The family also told CHCH News that the men “did something to the family dog,” causing it to become disoriented.
The suspects allegedly trashed the upstairs of the home before fleeing around 4:45 a.m. in a stolen navy blue Audi Q5 with Ontario licence plate CXLJ 430 and a silver Porsche 992 with Ontario licence plate CYXR 654.
In a media release Wednesday, police say they seized the silver Porsche 992 in the Toronto area Tuesday. The navy blue Audi Q5 remains outstanding.
Hamilton police say no one was injured during this incident.
Investigators believe it was a targeted home invasion.
Officers are now searching for four Black men believed to be in their 20s.
Residents in the area of Hopkins Court and York Road are asked to review their security surveillance cameras between 4:15 a.m. and 5 a.m. Saturday for any signs of suspicious activity.
Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Det. Sgt. Ben Licop at 905-546-3851.
