A Hamilton man is wanted after officers responded to a residential break and enter in the Westdale area on Saturday.

The suspect, Dustin Steiger was able to make his escape before the arrival of police.

Steiger is wanted for the following offenses:

  • Break and Enter – Commit
  • Assault (choke)
  • Assault level 1
  • Utter threats to cause death or bodily harm
  • Fail to comply probation X 8

Officers say Steiger is believed to be in Hamilton, if you see the suspect do not approach but call police immediately.

Anyone with information that could lead to the suspects arrest is asked to contact police at 905-540-4925.
