Hamilton police seek ‘suspicious’ driver that approached woman

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspicious vehicle and its driver.

Authorities received reports of a suspicious individual in the area of King Street East and Barnesdale Avenue South on Thursday.

Police say a woman was walking in the area just before 3 p.m. when she was followed and approached by a male driver in a black Honda.

After a brief interaction the vehicle left the area in an unknown direction.

There was no physical interaction and no one was physically injured.

The vehicle is described as a black four-door Honda Civic with tinted windows.

The driver is described as having brown skin, short hair, a long, scruffy black beard and spoke with an accent. Police add that he was wearing a black turtleneck.
