Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying another suspicious driver who tried to lure a teenage boy into his vehicle.

Officers said a man in a black two-door pickup truck, possibly a GMC, approached a 13-year-old boy in the area of Dover Dr. and Nash Rd. South shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The vehicle pulled over and stopped near the teen. The driver got out of his truck and tried to entice the boy to get into it. Police said the youth walked away.

The driver got back into his vehicle, drove westbound on Dover Dr., then northbound on Nash Rd. South and was last seen driving westbound on Queenston Rd.

No physical contact was initiated during the incident and no one was injured.

The white male driver is described as having tanned skin and very short brown hair on the top with grey and white on the sides. Police said the suspect is between 40 to 50 years old. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with red and green bulls on it, black jacket, black pants and possibly spoke with an accent.

Investigators said his vehicle has tinted windows and a tonneau cover over the truck bed.

Residents in the area are asked to review their exterior surveillance camera footage for the suspect vehicle described at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the division two Det. Sgt. at 905-546-2907 or the division two patrol staff sgt. at 905-546-2963.
